Today's class is going over everything you need to know on how to care for your tub after spawning. We will be introducing FAE(fresh air exchange) to help in
Hi, I was wondering if p.cubensis is capable of fruiting in temperatures between 27-28C° (80.6-82.4F°) as it is the current temperature in my terrarium (ambient temperatures are really high where I live) and unfortunately cooling is not an option.
Thick meaty stalks and dark spotted caps are another characteristic of this strain. Extreme bluing reaction upon any cutting or bruising of the fruit. It's no wonder it carries the name it does. Colonization temperatures 84/86 degrees F. Fruiting temperatures 74/78 degrees F. is optimal temperature 22-24 °C indirect sunlight humidity 90 – 95 % fresh air exchange: 3 times a day (minimum) period: 3 – 7 days Fruiting temperatures should be between 70-79°F (22-27°C), which is slightly lower than the 75-85°F (24-30°C) required during incubation.

And in addition to physical appearance, it's noteworthy that the B+ ranks high in it's quality and abundance of spores. 2021-01-30 · Cold shock — a sharp temperature drop (between +8+16°C) for 6-24 hours. Such conditions stress mycelium and stimulate the fruiting phase. Some growers make a cold shock at +8°C with simultaneous cake rehydration before the first wave of fruiting.
In November the temperature drops to approx. 4-8 degrees Celsius (40-45 F) which induces the Azurescens to fruit until first frost.
Some mushroom species require no light at all in order to grow. Others, such as the psychedelic cubensis, require plenty of illumination in order to grow healthy, mature fruiting bodies. That said, opinions differ as to just how much light magic mushrooms really need.
No light and increasing tryptamine in the growing medium leads to more psilocin but less psilocybin in the mushrooms. August 25, 2020 - By Barbara E. Bauer, MS. Dmytro Tyshchenko / Shutterstock In this study, freshly cultivated fruit bodies of Psilocybe cubensis were used for monitoring stability (including storage and processing conditions of fruiting bodies). Furthermore, mycelium and the individual parts of the fruiting bodies (caps, stipes, and basidiospores) were also examined. Colonization temperature: 28 – 30 Celsius Fruiting temperature: 23 – 26 Celsius .

When you go to fruit, anywhere between 68-80 is fine.
Around room temperature is the optimal fruiting temperature for all varieties of cubensis. 65F is a bit low, try to at least hit 70F. 70-80F I keep mine at 72 or 73. Just room temp I don't use any heaters or anything other than my central air. I have my setup in a basement, so it's pretty chilly.

Fruiting temperatures 74/78 degrees F. is optimal.
Too warm and you get a lot of energy going into mycelial fuzz. Too cold and you get lots of pins, but slow growth and tiny caps. This is if you are using perlite as your humidity source.
